The Cagewarriors Heavyweight Champion Jeff "The Snowman" Monson makes his 2nd defence of his Title when he faces the Frenchman Emmanuel Marc on November 26th in Coventry, England.
The American Jeff “The Snowman” Monson is one of the most dominant sport grapplers in the world today. Voted "Submission Grappler of the Year" by Onthemat.com in 2004, this multi-faceted star won 1st place in the +99kg division at the ADCC 2005 - Submission Wrestling World Championships and is also a 3 time veteran of the Ultimate Fighting Championships in America.
Monson returns to the UK to make the 2nd defence of his CWFC Heavyweight Title after defeating former champion Tengiz Tedoradze twice at Cagewarriors 9 (where he won the title) and at Cagewarriors Ultimate Force in April where he defended it with another grappling masterclass. Monson is currently on a 12 fight win streak in MMA competition that has lasted over 2 years and has led to many pundits calling for his return to the UFC. However he'll be defending his title tonight against a Frenchman who should be well known to the local MMA fans in Coventry.
Marc also has a deceptively strong ground and pound/striking game too, however this veteran of the Dutch 2H2H series will need to put on his best performance to date, if he is to take the CWFC Title away from “The Snowman” at the ice cold Skydome Arena on November 26th.
