In an effort to make the most of the growing popularity of online video conferencing and voice chatting in the region, Logitech has unveiled its QuickCam Fusion webcam - an all-in-one video conferencing kit.
The camera features a 1.3-megapixel sensor, an integrated microphone and Logitech's Right Light technology, which optimises skin tones and minimises image distortion. The camera also features RightSound technology, which the firm says is used to eliminate echo, thus giving the illusion that the person you're chatting with is in the same room.
The camera is also the first to be bundled with the firm's video effects software, which allows users to transform themselves into 3D animated characters that mimic facial movements. The software works with MSN, Yahoo and AOL instant messenger.
