KINGSTON, Ont. -- In an unusual move, police in this eastern Ontario city have released several e-mail addresses allegedly used by a man facing a variety of child pornography charges.
Mark Bedford, 21, is facing 12 criminal charges and is alleged to have coerced hundreds of girls around the world to perform sexual acts on webcams.
The majority of the charges against Bedford stem from alleged incidents with girls in Edmonton and Kingston, though police say there may be other alleged victims elsewhere in Canada and England.
After the meeting, the girl's computer was hacked, police said, and her e-mail address was used to contact her friends who were encouraged to show their breasts over their webcams.
